Letter from Josh Druce
By manager on Jun 27, 2007 in From Josh
My Fellow Americans,
Modern day politics have degraded into a harsh territory, ventured upon by only the strongest - and often craziest - of people. Intelligent plans, pursuance of goals and the long forgotten dream of making the world a better place have been cast by the wayside in favor of mud-slinging and party-on-party standoffs. It seems more politicians are focused on stopping the other team rather than favoring the needs and desires of their own people.
Things need to change. Nobody wants to live in such a divided country. I’m not here to blame anyone. Such activities are more suited for talk-show hosts and politicians. What this country needs is a President, not another politician. We need someone that is willing to get things done without breaking the rules, the law. We need someone that is President of the United States of America, not President of 26% of the country. We need someone that isn’t obsessed with party lines. Democrats have a lot of good ideas. So do Republicans. No President can be successful by attempting to consistently please half the nation. That’s not what Democracy is about. That’s not what this country is about.
Unfortunately, our politics has degraded to little more than day time television. No longer are candidates judged on their goals, dreams and plans for the future, instead we judge people based on the mistakes of their past. The content of what someone says is not nearly as important as whose mouth is moving.
I come to you today to tell you that I’ve made mistakes, and while I’m not proud of everything I’ve done, I’m proud of the lessons I’ve learned along the way. And so, in the spirit of honesty and full disclosure, here are my responses to the things that you may see and read about me in the coming weeks.
- That wasn’t me.
- That was legal in that state at that time.
- That wasn’t me either.
- Thats not even possible.
- She liked it.
- That wasn’t cocaine.
- I don’t even know what that is.
- That wasn’t me either.
- That wasn’t my arm.
- That was me and it was awesome.
- She was 18, I saw her ID.
- I’m not gay; it was a very confusing time in my life.
- That wasn’t me.
- I did not have sex with that woman.
- That’s not actually uranium.
Sincerely, Josh Druce

Are you kidding me. Did you see Man of the Year one to many times!! Although this may seem like a great idea to some there is still a reason that politicians run our county. You can’t just have a joe shmo come in and think that he is going to be able to deal with foreign affairs, diplomats that have years of experience, wars between nations etc. You’re first order of business is to get Steven Tyler back on heroin!? What are you out of your freakin mind!! Not to mention that Aerosmith has never suxed and if you think that you obviously don’t know anything about music. And if that is your #1 isssue, to let the American people decide what is on the radio our counrty will be in deeper sh*t than we are now. What about all the starving people in Africa or the people who die from the AIDS epidemic. If you are here for the people why not do somthing about world hunger!! If this is a joke it is not funny! And if this guy is serious I hope there are still a few people out there that have a glimmer of intelligence to realize that this is not the guy to vote for!!

How is the coffee fund coming along? Can I donate money so that he can drink green tea instead?
manager | Jul 21, 2007 | Reply
Absolutely. I imagine you’re making most of his decisions for him anyway.
Or at least you should be.
Leyla | Jul 23, 2007 | Reply
LOL…making decisions for him? No, luckily for him I’m not that kind of girl. However, I did help deter him from buying a Honda Accord that was on it’s death bed….our future president needs a reliable car.
